CHECK IN + CHECK OUT
EARLY ARRIVAL + LATE DEPARTURE
If you are arriving ahead of 3pm, please let us know and we will do our utmost to be of service. To ensure you can settle into your room earlier than 3pm, we kindly suggest booking it from the night before.
Should you desire to linger in your room a little longer and require and late check-out, we will do our very best to help. However, for later departures up until 4pm, a charge of up to 50% of the room rate will occur; and any time after that, a charge of a full night’s rate will apply.
Notwithstanding time, late departures will be subject to availability. Should we be unable to accommodate you, we will always be glad to store your luggage, safely and securely.
PRE-AUTHORISATIONS
All credit cards are pre-authorised upon checking in for the sum of your accommodation plus an additional $200 per night to cover any incidentals. Should you wish to know more, please contact The Hotel.
Unfortunately, we are unable to pre-authorise debit cards, therefore you will be charged for the full cost of accommodation and $200 per night to cover any incidentals, upon check in. Any amount over will be refunded to the same card upon check out.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Taxes + Fees
New York State and City, along with occupancy taxes & fees, are applied to all reservations, charged at the applicable rate and as required.
PAYING FOR SOMEONE ELSE?
Should you wish to pay for someone’s stay but will not be present at the point of check-in, a completed Third-Party Payment Form will be required. This is for the protection of the card holder.

Children
As guests of The Hotel, children are welcomed at Café Zaffri.
pets
Dogs are welcomed to accompany you during your stay. Please contact stay-nyc@thetwentytwo.com to confirm. If you wish to bring a different pet, please do get in touch with The Hotel.
We have a sprinkling of house rules for pets:
Safety is our utmost priority. Pets must be kept on a lead or in a carrier whilst in public spaces in The Hotel. Pets are not allowed upon the furniture under any circumstances. Should any damage occur, you will be liable for the repair costs of any damages or additional cleaning requirements, including labour costs.
A minimum cleaning fee of $50 per night applies following each stay in all Rooms and Suites. Further charges may apply should there be any damage or if considerable cleaning of the room is needed.
Pets should always be with you or a trusted member of your party and should not be left alone in either the public areas or the bedrooms. The Hotel staff are not responsible for chaperoning your pet.
PARKING
Parking is available at an additional cost:
You are welcome to self-park at Metropolis, 20 East 16th Street – next door to the hotel.
Rates are $50 per standard-sized vehicle (i.e., equal to or less than 70” in height and 181” in length) for a 24-hour period, with no in-and-out privileges, and $65 per oversized vehicle (i.e., more than 70” in height or 181” in length) for a 24-hour period, also with no in-and-out privileges.
Valet service can be provided upon request.
Valet rates are $100 for a 24-hour period, plus a 1-hour grace period, for a standard-sized vehicle, with no in-and-out privileges.
Oversized vehicles are subject to an additional $15 charge per day.
Supersized vehicles – such as the Chevrolet Tahoe, GMC Yukon, Chevy Suburban, Toyota Highlander, Cadillac Escalade, or Mercedes GLS – are subject to an additional $30 charge per day.
Vehicles requiring electric charging incur an additional $15 charge per day.
Please note: We cannot valet ultra-luxury vehicles, i.e., Lamborghinis, Ferraris, Bentleys, or Rolls-Royces.
Delivery wait time may be up to 1 hour after placing the request.

GYM
Our state of the art gym is designed to meet all your fitness needs. Partnering with Technogym, our gym is available 24 hours a day for hotel guests. For a more personalized approach, private training sessions with expert trainers are available upon request.
Decorum
The Twenty Two New York will not condone improper behaviour from any of our guests. We kindly ask that you treat our other guests, our staff and The Hotel with the utmost respect during your stay or visit. We reserve the right to ask you to leave the premises and cancel the rest of your stay in the event that you fail to respect this policy.
Furthermore, we reserve the right not to accept future bookings from you and/or refuse you entry to our premises, and other hotels in our group.
The Twenty Two New York has absolutely no tolerance for, but not limited to: sexual harassment, racial or sexual orientation discrimination. Any misdemeanour of this nature will result in expulsion from the premises and refusal of future bookings.
Smoking
The Twenty Two New York is smoking-free. Smoking is not permitted in any part of The Hotel other than the designated smoking areas. Should it be brought to our attention that smoking has occurred, a cleaning fee of at least $500 will be charged.
